Breast surgeon

Sup, I havnt blogged for a while so there are a few updates!!

Mum went and had her bilateral Mastectomy done about 3 weeks ago. While she was in theatre they nicked her right lung, they said it was because of the radiotherapy she had done when she had cancer on that side 3 ish years ago. Shes doing well, she chose to have the implants put in, so at the moment she has the spacers in, they will fill them up over the course of a few months, once she is at the size she wants she will have the permanent implants put in.

A few days after she came home i got to see the carnage, wow its not pretty and the right side is all puckered, they promised her that once the implants are in it will fill out and look normal. Was a real big shock seeing her chest like that, not something i would wish on my worst enemy.

I did some research and decided on getting the abdomable flap reconstruction done. Link here - its number 3 - the TRAM flap http://www.thebreastcentre.co.nz/services/breast-reconstruction-.aspx
